The vacuum line is good to check and also make sure the carb overflow vent is not blocked up; its the clear line coming off the carb going to the underside of the bike by the bottom of the shock.

Unfortunately that bridge (Skead Trestle Bridge) has now been closed off due to it deteriorating quite a bit and being a safety risk. Hopefully it will be made sound again so snowmobile, bike and ATV traffic can use it. If you want to see a wild video of that bridge check out - Dirt Bike Wheelies Scetchy Bridge. Also, 'that gravel' is railway ballast. Rail companies usually scoop it up after removing the tracks to use again or sell it, as it does have some value.

This is actually the power line between Cloyne (Hwy 41) and Bannockburn (Hwy 62). I've ridden this on snowmobiles before and recognize the Buddhist Temple from the video. Looks like a blast on the bikes!

Thing works great. Gives me hope for my 214 snowblower attachment. I'm up in Northern BC. I've got the tractor pretty dialed in now with the tiller. But the snowblower is mostly seized up. Soaking everything in rust release penetrating fluid right now

I’ve had similar tip overs with no crash bars and my plastics look great. I struggle with the claim that the crash bars “ saved you” I’ll close by saying, when i took mine off, my balance and the bikes handling improved significantly

Several of my riding buddies and I use older Sena's on our bikes and when we ride sleds. Its been great. Last winter I was on a snowmobile trip and half our group (including me) made a wrong turn and got several Km's in the wrong direction. One of the riders who was on the right path knew I had my sena connected to my cell phone and called me while I was driving to let me know. We got turned back in the right direction and met up with the other half of our group. It definitely saved time and avoided some stress.

I've been longing for new Mason ADV content lately, so I've gone back to some of the old camping series videos for a re-watch. Definitely worth it and makes me smile with every re-watch. I echo Melon1's comments about liking ADV bikes too much. I bought a KLR last year and it's been absolutely the best thing to renew my love of motorcycling. I still have my street bike too but use it less and less anymore.

has anyone run the tusk highland system along with a hard top box? would it sit too far forward?

I might be the only one, but I actually don’t like my gnoblin. It’s a pain to engage and disengage and my bag is less stable being anchored on a pivot point. Also, the thumbscrew chews through anything I place in the beaver tail. I’ll most likely remove mine and end up with a useless hole in the rear fender, lol

Does the 2013 klr650 come stock with a tube in the back tire or did you add it

I think you have a very impressive tool kit. On my bike I carry, in addition to my other tools, a compressor, which can run off the bike’s battery, a valve tool and tire goo. I’ve been a lot of places where I wouldn’t want to have to use a patch kit.

Thanks for the video. I just had the same issue arise in on my 2015 KLR. I was on the freeway when I lost the ability to go faster than 80km/hr. I was only 75k from home so was able to limp back. After lots of searching and asking questions on forums , I came across your video and recognized it was likely the same issue I had. I was able to clean my pilot jet assembly without having to remove the carb and it fixed the problem. And now I am better for it, knowing I could do this roadside.
